As an author on Amazon with ebooks and books in print with CreateSpace, I know the importance of immaculate proofreading. I have worked with many authors who put their book on Amazon, only to have the book receive bad reviews due to typos, grammatical errors and other glaring mistakes. Those reviews can't be undone. You must have your book professionally proofread before putting it out into the world! My goal is to offer affordable proofreading services. By proofreading, I am the final line of defense. I am the step AFTER the editor ... the editor is the person who makes major changes and does rearranging of your text. I am the proofreader ... as such, I catch all the rest of the tiny and large errors that others miss.
